About

Chris is a session drummer based out of Sydney, Australia, where he has established himself as an exciting musician with a chameleon-like approach to making music. Bringing together his love of odd rhythmic phrasing, improvisation & strong sense of groove, he is equally at home playing pocket as he is with playing complex arrangements.

In late 2017, Chris filled in for a few gigs for acclaimed guitarist Plini (AUS), and soon after became his touring drummer. He has since toured extensively across most of the globe with Plini, as well as artists such as Mestis (USA), Nick Johnston (CAN), David Maxim Micic (Serbia), Dave Mackay (UK/USA), SEIMS (AUS) & more.

Outside of session work, Chris also writes his own fusion/prog music with his pals in Instrumental (adj.) and also plays drums for the Tony Hawk themed cover band “Birdman or the Unexpected Virtue of a Tony Hawk Pro Skater Cover Band”. A band so coveted that Tony Hawk even invited us to play a gig for his charity & to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his iconic game!
